In my 5th year of Cal State LA, June 2012 – June 2013, I had to do a group project with a company named QTC. This company built websites using SharePoint, C#, and ASP.NET. In this project, we had 3 virtual machines, 1 for the Active Directory Usernames, the second was for SQL Server 2008 R2, and the third was the development machine used for Visual Studio 2012, SharePoint Server 2010, and InfoPath 2010. All 3 of these virtual machines were networked together to help build their project. We built SharePoint webparts, used Microsoft Windows Services, converted XSD into forms and that data back into XML, and created authentication pages.
