After more than a year of planning, preparation, and countless meetings, the moment finally arrived: on August 14, 2025, we launched Universal Horror Unleashed in Las Vegas, Nevada. This one-of-a-kind experience, located in the vibrant AREA15 district, is more than just an attraction—it’s an immersive world of horror brought to life, complete with thrilling haunted houses, live entertainment, a retail shop, and unforgettable food and beverage offerings.
For me, the journey was as much behind the scenes as it was about the guest experience. As the acting IT Support Manager, my role was focused on ensuring seamless operations across every corner of the project. From deploying hardware to collaborating with cross-functional teams, I worked on integrating SAP CCO POS and SAP S/4HANA, building out IT operations, and even developing custom software automations with Power Automate, SQL, and PowerShell to streamline financial reporting for operations.
The long hours and complex challenges were matched by the excitement of working with incredibly talented people from across disciplines. Seeing all of these efforts come together on opening day was not only a professional milestone but also a personal one—proof of what collaboration, persistence, and innovation can accomplish.
Outside of work, this journey has also been about discovery. Living in Las Vegas for three months for this project has given me the chance to go beyond the famous Strip and experience the local side of the city, from the family-friendly communities of Summerlin to the growing neighborhoods of Henderson.
Launching Universal Horror Unleashed has been a proud accomplishment and a reminder of how immersive storytelling isn’t just what guests experience—it’s also the story of the teams who bring it all to life.
