I saw a meetup event online (http://www.meetup.com) where people all over Los Angeles planned a White Water Rafting and Camping trip that was open to the public. I thought it was super interesting since I’ve never done both and that it would be fun meeting new people. I decided to join in on the event and boy it was an amazing and thrilling experience! Everyone was nice, the weather was great, we played games, drank, and ate throughout the night, went hiking, relaxed at tidepools, and of course going down a treacherous river in a raft wanting to stay alive is always fun. This was located at the Kern County River and we did a Category 3 River.
